DigiFol^TM films (also known as smart films, smart foils, digital shades, etc.) are 5 layers of electrically operated materials with a special crystal structure that can be installed directly on the glass (internal position). They are coated with pressure sensitive dry adhesive, conventional wet installation methods are prohibited.

DigiFol^TM films are opaque in the standard state because the particles inside them are not in a regular motion. When exposed to an electric current, they change their polarity and become ordered, making the surface transparent.
